  1. well im looking for some transmission diagnostic literature, and so far nothing. as for it sticking, how might i unstick it?
  2. alright, im wondering if any one has any ideas on this. i can have it in D and it will not shift when its supposed to, ill accelerate like normal but when its time to shift from 1st to second it will continue to rev untill i let off the gas and it drops RPMs then it will engage the second gear, same with 3rd. reverse is fine, i can drop it in 1st and run fine then manualy switch to second BUT it wont switch at that moment , it will still continue to rev till i let off the gas then it will engage the 2nd gear. any thoughts? i think its the solinoids, if it is how hard would you guys say it is to fix? :help:
  3. turn down the music and turn up the bass and you got a mobile 5000lbs vibrator good for those hard days work heh
  4. Eclipse is some nice stuff, have you seen the 2 Din DVD player with screen? very nice. the sterio i got isnt even listed. i got a Denon CD player, very old from 96, still runnin. i cant find any info about it online, and it looks like Denon doesnt even HU any more..
  5. well i just got done hooking up the new cooler, i knew the old ones clogged easy but geez. i had almost no fluid come out of the stock cooler, like maybe enough drops to fill a bottle cap.
  6. im already at 114k, i think one of the soliniodes are shot...
  7. that steering kits is nice, but pricy! calmini has some kick a$$ items, look sturdy but expensive.
  8. im getting ready to put in a Holden 404 cooler, i think mine stock one is kaput. now my tranny wont shift, it will rev up to 5k rpm not shifting tilll i let off the gas. Imma do a fluid flush tomarrow. you guys have any idea what could be causing the super long shifts when its not in Power?

yep just a can in your next oil change. yea from my experience it does seem to work. we used to use it on our old 82 Lincoln Continetal all the time.
  11. kinda reminds me of that shoe that subaru makes, what is the baja right?
  12. very nice, i really should do mine considering this texas heat here...
  13. you didnt happen by chance to have cracked a plug did you? i accidentally cracked one of mine and it had a rought idle at about 550 rpm in drive.
  14. some guy near my school bagged and chopped an old astro van. yellow-orange exterior with little 14" rims white wall tires and a white ragtop and white leather interior. body kit an every thing decked out. just ugly to me...
  15. have you gotten it on the dyno yet? about howmuch more power are you getting out of it? and yes i would pay 400-500, pretty reasonable for a SC kit. oh like pickles said, will it work with the EFI 3.0s?
  16. *cough* 4doors *cough* are better *cough* lol
  17. oh there isnt much room for amps in these trucks, my amps are on the box, but you should make sure you have enough bracing on the box or its gonna flex and shake the crap outta your amps, or loosen the screws ect ect.
  18. eh i rarely open the rear, so it wouldnt make a difference. but it would be heavy, and i doubt the stock lift pistons would be able to make much difference in lifting. the amp i wanna use is 17 lbs alone plus 2 10s at atleast 20 lbs apeace plus the box. i plan to get 2 1/2 tint all around and 20 in the front windows so ill be covered there. ill have to see what happens though, i really like the idea cause the bass fires forward instead of tward the rear window like i have. i was thinkin about putting speakers in the rear passenger doors, has any one done this? ive see tweeters but i wanted to put in say 6x9s or 5x7 near the bottom and tweeters up high, and new speakers in the back, new in the front doors and maybe replace the kick panels with speaker pods. all in all 8 speakers and 8 tweeters, large dreams i suppose. would be cool, it would be an orgy of sound in my truck.
  19. i was thinking about removing the whole plastic panels on the rear hatch and make a fiberglass subbox with an amp mount. id make the box a little more deep that the original plastic, and route the cables through the roof line and ground it on the door it self and ground the door to the roof for a better ground. that way if they look in through the back they dont see much. i think it would look cool but be kinda hard to do... just an idea though...
  20. yes most ppl say dont even mess with it in a older truck. from what i under stand the oil can slip through old seals makin leaks that wernt there before.
  21. funny thing is i see pathfinders all over the town and HBs as a basic work horse. almost every yard ive been to i dont see many HBs either, they are more of them tho. there is a void of HBs and finders here.
  22. lol ive seen somethin similar. some guy used a 17" laptop screen and a swivel mount arm. pretty nice set up, he used a ATX form factor board and a super thin keyboard and optical mouse mounted in the glove box. nifity little toyota. hey 88 what kinda isolator you got?
  23. well i never had a problem with FRAM and never really heard of any complaints what brand do you use?
