  1. you really gonna try and hook that up? just outta curiousity. it wouldbe kinda neat to here that turbo music.
  2. mmm 33s with NO RUBBING. so nice
  3. thanks, i gotta learn more about cars....
  4. i noticed that my truck seems to use quite a bit of brake fluid, i see some, what i assume it is, seeping below the reserve on the master cylinder cover. i cant seem to find out what it is. maybe im braking too hard. oh and how hard would it be to upgrade the brake system like the master cylinder to make my truck stop better? i figure new rotors cause one of mine is a little damged..
  5. what about that 3.3 conversion. i havent heard much about it.
  6. i gotta question about headers... is there any way to get those thorleys to fit an automatic? i know it will need some modification but how much, if not then i will go with the pacesetters. after what i heard from 88 thats not the road i wanna go...
  7. when ever i can, last time i high centered and almost sucked water up the tail pipe. had to get a buddies dodge to come pull me out. thats the last time i listen to the people next to me.....
  8. the side mirrors are making the noise with the air passing over it, i dont know of any after market fixes. alot of pathfinders came with bugshields, and they do help alot. if youve ever driven in texas when its lovebug season then you knowwhat im talking about. but about diverting the air, i doubt it.
  9. how brittle is a hockey puck?
  10. dont forget that if you floor it quikly it will automatically switch over. happens to me all the time. heehehhehe
  11. yea i love that "fold down and tons of space" we got goin on. plus its all flat an even. makes for a lot of er space.
  12. be sure to cheak your hoses. twice i had found antifreeze all on the inside of my engine compartment, couldnt figure out where it was comming from. i deside to check it out and got a shot to the face with antifreeze. it had a hole on the side of the hose. sneaky little thing it was.

    winch

ive heard that warn and milemarker are good. your gonna want something that can dead pull about twice your trucks weight. like a 8k-9k winch, even a 10k. you might want to get a new batt if you just have a stock one, from what i hear they can drain batteries easly. hydrolic winches are nice, no waiting for the motor to cool down. they hook to you power steering system some how.
  14. wow thats nice, im really interested in a SFA for mine too.
  15. agh take it back (shakes fist), im from texas myself. id hate to hear people diss(ah thats a great word) my state, after all its my state. there isnt really alot of profane slag slung around. alot of us are pretty curtious. plus its the only state to get all four seasons in one week. yesterday it was 26 degrees fahrenheit, and today its like 50 odd and raining like crazy.
  16. yea, i dont see a real big reason to have strict moderation. i believe that almost, if not every one here is mature enough to know what lanuage to use and what is not acceptible. maybe a moderation on slurs, what ever the type, but i dont believe it will ever come to the use of such a filter or editing. i dont see or think any of the members droping F-bombs around. as for pics and content, i just keep seeing snowy or muddy pathys
  17. thats pretty pimp. if i had the money, time, tools, and lots of other things i would do it. #1 thing i would do is that sweet a$$ 350 swap. all that power and a timing chain
  18. what a nice guy. like that old honda cub commercial used to say(just a little modified) "You meet the nicest people in Pathfinders"
  19. the only jeeps that i do like are the originals from the 40s and 50s. thats when they deserved the invicibility mentality. although they wernt invincible they sure did take lots of beatings. ive seen a video of jeeps from that time hit jumps like the one MrJim hit in his pathy they were so much simpler then. now days every thing is controlled by a computer. instead of making it simplier they make it more complicated. but computers make every thing possible, just imagine all the people that would freak out if the whole nation was with out power, computers or cable.
  20. if only Piscator, almost all the aftermarket items are for domestic and toyotas. i almost never see an ad for Nissan in any 4x4 mags.
  21. lol I see them all the time on the t.v., like you said 88, the liberty is a joke. its a mall cruser simple as that. alot of people think that if it says jeep, it must be able to go thru any thing. i see alot of them around town with the extra lights on the roof, to me its just too much plastic. like the chevy avalanch, more like a avalanch of plastic.. a couple of weeks ago my dad had a accident with a silverado going about 5-8 mph, now my dad has a small dent in his dodge bumper and his hood is a little off but the woman he hit has to get her whole front end repaired.
  22. thats what i was think of but i wanted to see what others have done. is there anything i should worry about if i wire my foglamps and my auxilery lights strait to the battery? i figure i should put a fuse in the line some where near the switch. what do u guys think?
