  1. Has anyone ever tried replacing the oem ecu with a stand alone ecu ?
  2. I've changed injector seats, oxygen sensor, maf sensor, ecu, tps sensor, changed mechanics twice
  3. it's giving me temp sensor and maf sensor .really i think i've tried everything and replace everthing
  4. So,i've had my pathfinder for over a year now and still can't solve it's problem ( see older topics) i've change every sensor including ECU checked all wires from sensors to ecu , and car still smokes black (getting to much gas). So if i'm about to sell it parts seening that this problem can't be solved.
  5. Quick ? which is ground A B or C on the maf sensor
  6. I will try that, and the other suggestions on the maf sensor there are A B C A= white wire B=Black C=Black/white C= ground if not mistaking , I should rewire that right?
  7. We change the vacuum line and also replaced the fuel pressure regulator
  8. Ok, but we also checked if the injectors a spraying ok and not leaking, (they spraying ok) I read somewhere in here about re-learning the ECU, how do i go about doning that?
  9. I have a 95 Nissan terrano 4x4 v6 Been having problems since the day bought it, right now the pathy smokes black and hesitates when reaching 2500rpm. When in park it rev ok but a lot of black smoke and back fire throw exhaust. We check all sensor wiring to see if there no shortage and also check to see if there reaching the ECU. Checked spark plugs wire for spark( everything seems ok) Check timing( also ok) Check if maybe my timing belt jump a tooth(also Ok) List of more things I have done so far, 1. Took off Catalytic converter(thought it might be clogged up) 2. Change fuel filter 3. New knock sensor 4. New temp sensor 5. Cleaned injector and replaced seats 6. Bought used maf sensor and replaced 7. Replaced O2 with universal replacement When we replaced knock sensor the ECU wasn’t giving this code anymore, now it’s giving me Maf Sensor, I replaced the maf sensor but the car is still running the same I’m open for any suggestion that I haven’t tried all ready Thanks

    temp sensor

Ok new up date, saturday me and my friend ran all wires to si if they are not short but everthing seems ok, check the timing, check if timing belt is ok,everything checks out ok, So we ran the codes again, gave us the maf sensor and knock sensor,so we that's it let change the knock sensor so when removing we come to find out that the hose going to the fuel pressure regulator is not connected, but we kept on going with the knock sensor replacement, ordered new gaskets for the intake frome rob, should get them next week and lets hope i get some improvement if not a problem solved

    temp sensor

After some months without any progress, finally a friend that is a mechanic dicide to let me put the pathy at his home so that we can work on it(won't sell it) He made me a interesting question, he ask if the car has e problem and gives error codes, why does the check engine light off.(light is good, fuse is goood) any ideas?
  12. I'm in the caribbean(curacao) i found a 90 path for sale for $300 and i have a 95 so thought it was a good idea to get it for spear part.but i have to make sure they will fit
  13. Engine parts are the same right, will the ecu aslo differ?
  14. Of your exprience will parts from a 90pathy fit a 95 pathy?

  15. Question will all parts from a 90 pathfinder fitt my 95 pathfinder?
