  1. i'm 10 min from the beach, so we go there Alot. as far as room in the suburban it's massive compared to the pathfinder (wife drove the pf today and thoght the back glass was going to pop her in the back of the head, lol) interior compared to the titan it seems wider (the titan cramps you a little with the armrest, personally i like that though)
  2. LMAO, It's a dirty word SURBURBAN, and no i'm not thrilled to sell it, it's paid for and i like it. WIFE, yes she's been wanting a bigger ride we both would have rather got an armada but the lack of storage room behind the third row was the deal breaker. We got one loaded but still miss some of the features found in the nissan.
  3. So it's up for sale. 2005 Pathfinder SE 4x4, it has 64,378miles as of today. It has the bose 6 disc mp3 player, sunroof, dual climate, rear air and towing package. Of course it has the 33in tires BFG all terrain (tons of life left) on 16x8 Chrome AR wheels. It also has the K&N fipk II kit and I only use Mobil 1 5w30 in it. I also have it for sale locally (with the factory wheels and tires, would be pissed everytime i saw it, like it is if i sold it locally ) i'm asking $15,000 which is KBB private party value inbetween good/fair.
  4. you shouldn't have any balance problems, hear good things over on clubfrontier my main concern is the possible need for a shorter belt.
  5. the titan/armada suspension swap is an idea, but it isn't just bolting on the a arms, you've got to swap upper and lower arms, spindles, axles and modify the steering not to mention it adds 2.5 inches width to each side which could make fitting a taller/wider tire even harder. I've often wondered if the rear suspension would swap out as a bolt on. bottom line you'll end up with more wheel travel and one wide track. personally i think it would kick a$$.
  6. thats the attitude get the V8 and the supercharger for it
  7. thats the idea with the quick lift, taller springs will lift the front too much and possibly blow out the shocks (read some of the posts on the AC coils) i'l stick with the Old Man stuff. The size tire you're talking about running you could pretty much run w/o a lift so alot of lift isn't really needed unless you want it
  8. dude someones full of it you can use that to safely raise the rear about .75in but much more than that and your asking for trouble. personally i like the radflo adj coilovers for the front with the total chaos upper a-arms for 20% more suspension travel and use the ome rear lift (sounds like a killer combo to me) check out PRG at PRG's website link check this link for pics of the AC lift you have to scroll down AC lift post and pics
  9. lol, i think i'll try to fit that OME lift into my budget this winter I like the fact that it's not too high.
  10. alot of any tire size you plan on using has ALOT to do with the size and backspacing of the wheels you plan on using. pending they clear your calipers in the front. lol, funny reading new threads and seeing my ride.
  11. lol wuz up, hope your enjoying them, when did you get a pathfinder? yes reseting the ecu (disconnect the battery for 15 min or so) will restore the factory default settings for the fuel map and save some fuel mileage for awhile
  12. 05 pathfinder se 4x4 52k on the odometer. with stock tires and wheels (the originals which i still have) the trip computer was showing between 20-22mpg by far the best. with 305/70r16 bfg mud terrains it dropped to around 13-14mpg. when i changed to the bfg all terrains of the same size i've been getting 16-17. you tread pattern can have alot to do with fuel economy. had the same senario with my 00 frontier muds got around 14mpg switched to Super Swamper STS all terrains and the milage jumped to around 18. bottom line bigger rubber equals more fricton equals bad fuel economy. the theory about mud tires is they create excess friction when the lugs fold under as your tire is rolling along. I switch to the oem wheels and tires in the winter months when i'm not driving in the sand as much to save $ on gas. just a few thoughts, hope they made sense. ps i also have a k&n intake fipk gen II
  13. trim the fenders to clear the bigger tires in the front yes, to remove the sway bar no.
  14. lol, my truck buying days are over, wife and i just had a little girl and my wife is now a stay at home mom, huge cut going from 2 incomes to 1. Good thing they were already paid for (wish i could say the same for our house) as far as work i run a outdoor power equip store we sell and service toro, stihl and honda. later
  15. thanks for the comp on the titan yea i tried a couple of evasive manuvers and even had to use them in real life. Plenty of DA drivers out there to create the need. It handle's pretty much like i expected (like my 90 trooper with lift and no swaybar). My wife's used to it already also and no one else drives it I did keep the bars so if I sell/trade it I can put them back on (just thinking ahead for when the v8 model comes in)
