  1. its like a slow enron... all the big wigs are jumping ship and collecting while they can. Let the horror show begin and use your sell out money to buy popcorn for the show.
  2. lol, neither do signal lights, but thats not the point.
  3. mine did exact same thing. I just got used to it. The last 1/3rd of the tank actually represented the majority of my tank. Not sure why it does it, but I just learned to deal with it... besides, its not really that big of an inconvenience, if anything it'll help your fuel pump, cause u'll be filling the tank more often (thinking its low and whatnot).
  4. my dad's 97 ford F150 can be opened and started with my 1989 ford tempo car keys. Its not all the uncommon really, I've seen my friends open lots of their other friend's cars in highschool too. Whether or not its just worn tumblers or whatever, i've seen to be possible.
  5. bah, I could do it with my eyes closed and one hand behind my back... It wouldn't work after, but I'm sure I could do it. Sounds technical and very expensive. Good point. I suppose an aftermarket ECU, or some kinda piggy back system would work if there was ever enough demand.. but lets face it, there never will be.
  6. you know.. from what i've read since I installed my huge tranny cooler, you actually CAN have too big of a cooler. The tranny oil runs best at a certain temp, and I for one noticed my tranny shifted much rougher and generally less smooth under all circumstances than before I put the big cooler on. Someone said something somewhere about possible damage to the tranny over the longrun if the oil isn't able to warm up to the appropriate temp. whether they may have been just BS'ing, or actually have a valid point, I'll never know.
  7. Wouldn't the ECU throw all sorts of crazy errors due to the new sensor readings its not designed for?... I can't see it being as simple is plug it in and go.. or even close to that. And if its a case of just ECU tuning, why couldn't you take your stock pathy ECU's to a place and have them flash it for you? I know the guys in the Turbo Dodge/Ford/Saab Community do this frequently... and they're not just changing the boost levels, they're remapping the fuel delivery and other fancy smancy engine doohikies.
  8. look like pathy lights to me, AFAIK, HB lights dont have the screw holes on the side. but I could be wrong.
  9. Plastic bumper 0 - Metal/Tube bumper 1
  10. hehe.. this website (bless its web based soul) has a strict G rated policy.. for the most part. but I often ask myself... how many people who are in the age group or maturity range that they cannot or should not be around pg13+ content, and own a pathfinder?.. lol, I can't even think of a single person that fits that catagory that would even bother signing up for an account to just read about pathfinders. And in this day and age.. most 13 year olds know of more swear words, sexual inuendos, and general mischeif than any of us that are old enough to actually own a pathfinder anyway! hehe.. I'm not saying its not good to have those rules in place, It kinda keeps us civil, but its kinda funny when you stop to think about it. Don't flame me for this either, I'm not knockin it, I'm just saying its kinda ironic. Thats all.
  11. lol! What??? dude. read up: www.erowid.com compare the two, they are NOTHING alike, chemically or otherwise. Don't mean to be a smart ass or anything, I'm just sayin. EDIT: my bad, apparently its been adressed. I'm keeping the post up for the sake of the link. Theres some good factual reading about any kind of drug on that site and its worth it to educate yourself on some of them.
  12. *back* to stock? what in the....
  13. i can agree with this... the search is pretty useless unless you know the exact phrase in which post you are looking for, however that doesn't mean someone shouldn't still try that way first.
  14. ouch... that sucks dude. Good luck to you, with whatever you decide to do.
  15. There's always the search button, then if you can't find anything, THEN you post a question. At least thats how its sposed to work. Just try doing some leg work on your own before asking for help and people wont get so pissy.
  16. lol.. you MIGHT have some overheating problems... just a thought.
  17. Well, lets hear it guys. How much dough have you sunk into your money pits? Everything from wheels and lifts, to repairs and transmissions (lol) Poll does not include price of the vehicle!
  18. whats the verdict on that tailgate thing anyhow? my friend does it all the time and swears by it.
  19. pertersons mentioned the other parts aswell. Not just the diff.
  20. Those tires are awesome... The only thing I've noticed about them is that unless they are brand new... all the ones I see are bald.... aka, horrible tread life.
  21. It seems you where so exhausted from the ordeal you fell out of your drivers seat and passed out beside the car, face down in the mud.
  22. you're going to run your Oil into your (not in use) ATX Fluid Cooler on the rad?.. A common problem with those is that they clog up with just clean ATX fluid going through it, wouldn't used engine oil do it even faster? check 4x4parts.com for Oil relocation kits, I think they have one.
  23. the BEST thing I've used so far, when i did Top to bottom Cleanups on my pathy, was a bistle steam vac, Mr clean mixed in with some water and a nice soft rag, and finally a vaccum with various attachments. if you're really picky, a toothbrush goes a long way to clean in the cracks, just make sure you have a rag of some sort that will fit in there to wipe out the excess soap and water, otherwise all you did was move the dirt.
