somebody in the offroad club im in did that with his toyota. built a winch bumper and put a winch on it, put a 3inch body lift on it, and the first time he went to pull somebody out of the mud the damn thing broke off under all the stress because he used "risers" when he went up 3 inchs. just wait till the lift is on and then fab. it

dang, i think this means its time for you to crawl under ur pathy and change your own damn oil and not rely on anybody else to do it.

im interested in doing those.. but with the 3inch body lift, wont the 4wd shifter in 4lo cause problems with those there?

i say the first gens. mines an 88 and i haven't broken a damn thing YET. except a few alternators -argue- but yeah, everytime my buddys broncos and 4 runners and whatnot go out with me, they always come home with something wrong. i'll admit, i dog the crap out of the pathfinder, mainly because when i graduate i should get something a little newer and nicer and the pathy will finally be the trail rig so, from what i've done, i'd say its pretty dang good.

isn't there a way to fight the ticket? when i totaled my taurus i hit a patch of ice too and i slid about 100 feet into the back of someone and got a dang ticket for "to fast for conditions"

i got the same problem with my 88. i just assume upgrade to manual locking ones (thats what im going to do anyways)

i got one 12" infinity in a big ported box right behind the rear seats. still got enough room for my toolboxs and other stuff i carry.

i had problems with my flip down face cd players. 2 pioneers to be exact. this time in the pathy, i went cheap and bought a 100 dollar jenson cd player. its got the rcas and an aux input for my ipod. works just fine. almost better than the pioneers i had.

aren't most of those just for looks and you apply them with the 3m double sided tape stuff? i've seen some that look pretty good. i've seen others that get old and the paint looks all faded around it and just doesn't look good. i dunno though. you should try it. get a donor hood and see how it goes.

when i get my 3 inch body, mines going to look like this on the pathy. his is on a yota though, and he said it wouldn't be much trouble to make one for my pathy. he has eyelashes on it now though and a full cage.

i dropped mine also down in the middle of nowhere and i never found it. i just replaced them with some screws i had laying around that were the same size. maybe yours is different though, mines a 88.

hey, mine aint fast either and its a 88. though it did beat my friends 4-Cyl. 1.5 Liter 16V honda with the loud exhaust and his body kit and stuff.

thats always the best thing do. i talked to a guy in the offroad club im in with a yota that used to have a pathy on 35's on this forum, but i can't seem to find his name on here. he said he sold some custom bumpers to folks on here and that a custom bumper for a pathfinder is a bitch to make. lots of welding required to make it work. he suppose to build me one.

yeah, but if you upgrade to manual from auto can you leave them locked. if you know you might try something in 4wd, you could have just got out and locked them before even getting to the mud hole.
