  1. Sure I'll post some up late today for ya
  2. I have been reading on here how to replace bushings, and I have a FSM and it says that I need a press to remove the control arm bushings? Is it possible to remove the by just hammering the old ones with a wooden dowel or something? I dont have a lot of tools so I really hope you can. Thnaks
  3. Okay cool, thanks for the info guys! I really appreciate all the info.
  4. I was under my truck today, trying to find out where a squeaking sound was coming from and I noticed that Stabilizer bar bushing looked bent? I don't know if it is supposed to look this way or not? Here are some pics. Sorry if its a noob question.
  5. Here are some pics of mine, I have a custom made rack that mounts to my factory roof rack. I think that this is the route you should go, it is the easiest and cheapest in the long run.
  6. The 94-95 pathfinders are known for having gauge problems. That being said, My 92's tach only works part of the time, I have asked people and a lot of people have said to take of the instrument cluster and make sure that you have and good connections, As far as the fuel gauge, this is another thing that a lot of pathfinders have problems with ( mine only reads 3/4 on a full tank or dosen't read at all). There is a voltage regulator that goes bad and this is often the problem. Some where on here is a write up how to fix it. If none of that works than I know that I have read that some people have gone to scrap yards and found clusters that work. I would try to fix things before spending money to get a replacement. Best of luck to you
  7. When I did a starter mod I think that I saw the oil pressure sensor wire (yellow and purple) runs up to somewhere near the battary. Its in one of those black plastic wire covers. You could check in there to see if its frayed or something? Good luck.
  8. My Tach works only part of the time, I think I read somewhere on here that it could be the distributor, but i can't find where that was. Does anybody have any ideas as to what it could be? Thanks,Trenton
  9. I was just wondering if anybody has any experience about changing a timing belt. I am thinking about doing it myself to save money but im not sure how hard it is? I have a little experience with working cars but this would be the biggest job that I have done. I don't have any special tools but I do have a service manual. But the timing belt is a very precise thing. So if anybody has done it before I would appreciate your input on whether or not I could tackle it myself. Thanks, Trenton
  10. haha love the purple! awesome dude!
  11. i would say just try to give it a good tune-up? If it has been well taken care of then that might be all it needs?
  12. I haven't had any experience with them, But I currently have bfg all terrains, and I don't think that they have held up as long as they should(about35,000). They are great tires, I just think that they have worn out to quickly. But then again I have driven them very hard (going up and down a 11% grade everyday the past two winters). But I looked up these new tires and they appear pretty good, I if you get them you should let us know how you like them.
  13. Does anyone know if the Doug Thorley Headers will pass CA smog? And If not does anyone know what other options there are?
  14. ya, when i touch it the lights flicker, so I think that it is about to go
  15. You should also look at your torsion bars, they have been known to sag over time giving the noise down stance. there is an article in here about how to reindex them.
  16. WOW, my Haynes manual made that way more complicated than it actually was. just bolt it on, plug the holes, and pump the brakes and presto!
  17. Has anybody ever replaced their dash lights, mine are flickering and seem dim, So I was wondering if anyone has done it before.
  18. Legos all the way! I'm gonna paint mine later this summer.
  19. when I drive really carfully, I can get 300 to a tank, but thats like going 40 everywhere.
  20. 1. oil change 2. air filter 3. New master cylinder 4. and oem steering stabilizer in the process of redoing spare tire carrier.
  21. nevermind, just needed to tighten some bolts haha
  22. So today I put on a oem steering stabilizer, and now when I make hard to semi hard right turns my truck shakes, not terrible but noticeable. Is is possible that the shock is doing it, or do I just need a alignment or something? Thanks, Trenton
  23. Mine does the same thing, its very common for pathfinders in our year. There is a voltage regulator on the back of your cluster that goes bad and gives a false reading(also does it to the temp gauge), you have to take the cluster off and replace it, or maybe the wires just need to be reconnected. A lot of people here have fixed it(I haven't yet)and they say its really easy and cheap(a trip to a radio-shack for parts). here is the link to how to fix it, good luck! http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=27480
