  1. ya u know the only reason i even went as far to get her runnin again is i figured if a truck survived all that with no broken pieces but motor mounts, she must be worth keeping. i am jut thankful for her being a 2wd truck cause its the sickest prerunner in my town lol. everyone has either seen it fly past them or jump over them and it never broke. i just had a 95 hardbody and man all i gotta say is what a PoS compared to a pathfinder. my stock rear end cycles about 10 inches alone. and the front just has stiff ass doutche tech shocks off my friends 06 chevy. idler arm brace. and i parted out my old shocks so if anyone has long shocks that will cycle at least 8 inches of travel i need some. thanks for ur input ladies and gents. if u guys ever plan on a [prerunner i rly rly must say the pathfinder has the best weight distribution and rear end at least stock. i just wish the prerunner market was a good one for them.
  2. it was a whoop section that turned into 4 foot jump and then some. that didnt help
  3. and i forgot to also say the rear of my pathfinder leans to the left pretty bad. coil spring done dees?
  4. So on graduation day of 09 june 6. i went out with a big group of friends and i ended up jumpin my pathfinder at roughly 70+ mph. multiple times. i broke 2 motor mounts, trans slipped 6 inches over. center link hit my oil pan but no leaks thank god. i fixed everythin just in the last 2 days. and now my wheels have rly bad camber. do u think i just need alignment or my tie rods and stuff are bent?
  5. thanks man. awsome info for me. that takes care of my rear if they go good has anyone seen this on a nissa? the 63" chevy springs?
  6. well lets just say this on that note, that i drive 4 miles if that to work and back. the farthest spot i go mobing is pismo wich is 45 minutes away. i think with a sway bar i should be fine. why do u guys think sas is not safe. they make mass trucks still today with them....
  7. thanks a ton. that helped a lot on the springs, but i am a hardbody so i am gonna stay leaf springs rear. but reading on the entire steering thing on nissannut.com, its hard to get what i do to get the steering knuckle to bolt up and what part to use. and exact bolt on knuckle for straigt front?
  8. because i am trying to save me having no vehicle to get to work for a couple weeks if anything wrong goes down. i dont wanna rely on my girl to get me to work everyday lol. but yes. it is a leaf sprung front end, my friend is the welder. he is a fabber here in my town. i just decided leaf spring first then move to link next just to see how i like it. like i said, i want opinions on ur ifs builds and what u think about them.
  9. i have been going back and forth on what i wanna do from SAS or just lift my stock ifs. my problem is. all uguys who lift ur trucks with ifs. do u have problems with ur cv shafts? any boots ripping? what are ur lifts? i rly want a sas, it is about 800 dollars with me and my friends doing it very legitly, but ifs is only about 5 hundred. so if u guys can give me some good news ifs that would be best. thanks. and let me know what kind of off roading u do with ifs.
  10. what are those? the waggy 44044s? lol. sry i am trying to figure this out. they stock springs?
  11. what are the other better set ups i can buy off trail gear. i am mainly focusing on what front leaf springs i should attain and rears at same point. i am gonna use the calmini front hanger bar, any other options?
  12. ok cool. well so far i got one of my friends who wants my dana 35 so i am sellin him that and i hope to come up on a dana 44 soon. has anyone used the 60" chevy springs for the rear on a hardbody>? i hear thats the trick they used on the rear of yotas. rear is my main problem as of right now. the front cant be touched until i grab a 44 and gear all my other stuff. any information on steering>?
  13. would i be able to get a d44 and keep my stock rear end?
  14. was lookin at the cal mini stuff for teh sas swap. anyone recomend this set up? and i frogot to ask, what leaf springs should be used?
  15. So today i picked up a axle to do on my 93 nissan hardboy. was gonna go on pathfinder but i got my truck and i want a flat bed rock crawler so went with truck. Its supposably out of a 91 jeep cherokee, would anyone know what axle that is? and is there any way i can check on it? is it a good axle to use? And what are some good tips for a guy doing his first axle swap himself. i got a friend who will do welding. i am lookin for as much help as possible. from gears, locker, what i should replace on the axle. thanks guys help me out. i wanna join the sas group. and one main thing i need help with is what do i use for steering?
