  1. OKK long time since I've posted here since it's been a long time since I had a problem. 1991 Pathfinder SE 3.0 V6 Manual The gist of the problem I can no longer shift into reverse, almost like there is a block keeping it from shifting in. Gears 1-5 work fine, with no change in sound or noise. Now there is a little wire hanging loose under the tranny, which I had not noticed before. My main question before I send this off to a mechanic on monday is, could that little wire be causing the block? Whenever I went over 10-15 mph forward it always felt like there was a block on reverse and 1st gear keeping you from doing something stupid and blowing out your gear box. I went thru previous posts and didn't find anything =/ Anything at all will help. - Brendan
  2. This is the Body Lift I am looking at - how many years of experience in mechanics will I need to draw on to get this installed? I have my dad to tap - but can anyone give me a heads up what to watch out for? I looked at the howto, and there was no "howto" in it lol
  3. 88Pathy has some JGC coils in the mail for me and I am getting Calmini TBars and new UCA's With all those in (plus the new shocks), could I stuff in 32" tires?
  4. for offroading, would stiffer or softer shocks be the way to go, seems to me it would be softer shocks - someone clue me in here I'm in the process of replacing my entire suspension system with aftermarket parts and this is kind of a big part of it
  5. Can someone explain the difference in cost in these 2? Warn Premium Hubs One says 90-99 and is $174.99 and 90-91 is $105.95 WHY?
  6. I'm gonna drop in some Warn Hubs - I've been hitting the net for the last hour looking for a good price.. HOWEVER Can someone explain the difference in cost in these 2? Warm Premium Hubs One says 90-99 and is $174.99 and 90-91 is $105.95 WHY?
  7. Ok, I had a friend help, the front shaft rotates when I shift into 4wd (I can do it without a stupid little dash light) but the hubs don't engage Soooo new hubs? Plus on the back springs, I would like to just pop in JGC 3" coils...
  8. First off, this is what all happened. My '91se pathy got stolen a few monthes back, police found it 4 days later off in no mans land. The clutch was *completely* blown out, I mean I was literally pulling out RIBBONS of pressure plate. We replaced the clutch, got it mostly back together except for a few oddities. #1) 4wd no longer engages. When I shift into 4WH the light doesn't light up nor do the auto hubs pop out and "engage" the front wheels. Are the autolocking hubs controlled by an switch, possibly the same one that controls the dashboard light? #2) Back left suspension sags now. Yay. #3) the magnanomous pricks punched out my passenger side airvent, are those easily reinstalled? Thanks in advance for all replies, this has been very very stressful
  9. Redmond here =) Going up into the mountains today as well yeehaw!!!!!!!!
