  2. My parents came down to visit me and we decided on a little camping/kayaking adventure in the Olympics. The Pathfinder was loaded up with enough gear for 4 adults, one dog, and two kayaks. The vehicle worked great! I'm definitely itching to do some more updates/upgrades, trying to hold off until fall and winter though. Parents next to the load out! Getting up to elevation. Cool side view. Tire carrier + heavy drawers (need to rebuild) + gear and the truck levels out. I'd like to lift the rear up more to compensate. At camp. It was fun to see the Pathfinder loaded out! I enjoy these short trips because it helps me practice planning/packing for future trips.

  3. Sliders go on July 1, local fab shop is two weeks out. Gusset kit arrived yesterday. I could also see them making me a front bumper here soon, I was quoted about $350. Also working towards getting my own mid skid plate made.

  4. Fix shmix, run it into the ground! Nah, seriously though, good progress! Take care of those next couple steps you've got planned and you'll be set real well.

  5. Haha, after having mice chew the injector wiring on my Xterra, I wrapped the entire new harness with this: https://www.amazon.com/Honda-4019-2317-Rodent-Tape/dp/B00AJTG3N0

  7. No cabin filter. I did add a screen over the opening from the cowl into the fan a while ago to keep them from getting in that way (after they did and crapped in the fan). They've eaten through cabin air filters in two of my parents' cars, both of which we screened off after the fact to keep it from happening again. They still find other ways in. I'm pretty sure the mice around here would crawl up your pantleg and start hollowing you out if you stood still for too long.

  8. Maybe he got at your in cabin air filter and shredded it up trying to make a nest. It’s an easy and cheap part to replace. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Turned on the vents and shredded Kleenex came out. Lifted the rear seat and found a mouse staring at me. I suspect the little bastard got in through the (formerly) rubber part of the transfer case shifter boot, then ran up into the dash through the floor vents. Long story short, there's one less mouse in the world, the truck got a good vacuum, and I made a surprisingly decent-looking shifter boot from part of an air mattress. (Probably would've looked better if I hadn't used the part of the mattress with the inflation instructions printed on it.) Hopefully that keeps the rest of them out.
