  2. It depends on the code. The light can come on and off on its own. It doesn’t always require a reset. And 208 degrees is definitely too hot for normal. Mine never goes above 196 in AZ at 105 plus temps. That combined with the white smoke has me thinking you have a bad head gasket

  3. So, I'm about 2 years late to party, but I thought I'd share. I bought a tool that's designed to remove hoses. It's a long, thin pick, but it's bent like a hook. You use it to get under a hose (like the radiator hose), and free it from the barb or nozzle that it's connected to. This little tool has worked wonders... it was so hard to get a small screw driver or anything else in there. The tool does it's job. Attached is a photo I got off of amazon. They call it a "hose hook pick". FYI, in case anyone needs it.

  4. I cannot rmember when the design changed. They went from a full sheet to holes stamped into them. If you can get the supercharged tc thst be great but understandable if you cannot. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

  5. Mine makes a noise like that from the back when it's hot outside. Tracked it down to the check valve for the fuel tank (prevents fuel draining out through the evap system if the truck rolls over). Replaced it on my '95 and the new one did it too, so I haven't bothered doing anything about it on my '93. I'm not sure where the check valve is for the R50.

  6. I remember seeing this discussed before but I don't remember what it was; I do remember it was a non-issue though, just a normal thing (EVAP depressurizing or something like that?). Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I seem to remember.

  7. You need a 96+ tc and matching flex plate for it to work. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

  10. I know it’s not the same as the stresses from a winch pulling, but for a basic strength test I’m happy to see the bumper has no problem supporting the weight of the truck (at least the front of it). This is just lifting from the round tube on the front of the bumper. I took it slow, but it lifted both wheels with no complaints. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but the drivers wheel was off the ground just enough to spin it by hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Hope you can find the time to get your rear end sorted out! I know the feeling for sure. You hit a bit of a wall and think "Well, looks like I've got other things I need to do anyways this week..." and the next thing you know it's been 6 months since you've even looked at it.
