  3. From what I've seen in the junkyards, the back end of the frame rusts out real bad just like first gen Pathfinders. Otherwise I think they're really cool.

  4. No need to apologize Mr. Cox - I was just joking around.

  5. I do apologize for this pic. I never go 4 wheeling and very rarely does my Quey get dirty. I'm OCD when it comes to cleanliness. I have the up most respect for the guys who put the time, money and effort in to building their rigs. I'm more of a factory spec OEM kinda guy. That said I've never won truck of the month. That might be the reason. This Quey was 100% ready for a junk yard trip, but I have a deep passion for working on them so I brought it back to life with a little (or maybe A LOT) of TLC. If you want to know how to clean something on your r50 or any cosmetics I'm the guy. If you need to know about a lift, bigger tires or spacers I have no clue. All I know is I love these trucks and I LOVE NPORA. I know this might sound crazy, but my R50's saved my life. Good luck (TOTM December) Mr Cox 96R50-97JR50

  6. I think cold is a relative term! It's 46*F here right now and we consider that FREEZING!

  7. Inspired by @onespiritbrain I looked into a straight forward solution to cold weather starts while using an external cooler and adding a temp gauge. Nothing fancy but I feel like I may end up using something like this. The valve would be manually actuated from inside the cab and the gauge could be mounted in a variety of places. Would require: -Temp gauge kit -simple 3 port manifold -3 way diversion valve -brass T fitting -hose and clamps

  9. Some shots from a November trip to Anza-Borrego and the Salton Sea. Great time, but pretty sure it accelerated my control arm bushing disintegration...

  10. I may be jumping ahead but, if you decide to rebuild the gearbox, it is much easier to pull the transfer case out first. The transfer case and transmission as an assembly is about a mile long and very heavy. I had to do it twice...

  11. Same, but not rears. You can also use the key to open/close fronts & sunroof but not rears.
