1. That is strange because myself, I hate my spare tire being under the vehicle and most 4X4ers I know hate it too.

 2. Yup, I saw a factory equipped facelifted R50 on my commute not too long ago. Assuming it was from Canada but I didnt see its plates, scrambled to try and catch a photo and failed. The swing gate is subtly different from the early R50 units.

 3. WAM Bumpers makes a rear bumper with swing arm. They claim they bought out TAG/Kennesaw Mountain and are not just another version of them. So far the reviews have been solid. I plan on getting one in the spring when my tax money gets here. https://www.facebook.com/WAMBumpers/

 4. Friend of mine has a 2003 Pathfinder and he put the tire carrier off a 1997 (similar to mine) on his and if I remember right the only real modification he had to make was the plastic trim pieces against the body.

 5. I've seen one R50 with a rear tire carrier. The part numbers you listed are for the underbody carrier though not the uber rare swing arm.

 6. Christmas display on dash is alternator until ruled out. Hook your pathy up with another vehicle running right via jumper cables. see if the delivery of good voltage fixes the problem if it does, or at least makes it better there is the first thing to fix.

 10. Who would be interested in seeing me pick up an intake box from the junkyard (only ~$10) to do a detailed how-to on how to make the most out of the stock intake system without having to go to a full snorkel? It worked great for me and has worked great for those who I've passed the instructions onto so far, and I've been toying with doing a proper write up.

 13. They worked until my truck went to the graveyard. Now on my new one, I have my spacers instead of the stiffer coils and I don't need limiting straps anymore to eliminate strut top out... I might re-install them one my other pathfinder project (for trail only) that i'm about to start.. S.

 14. Me too (and I know how they turned out!). He’s probably still recovering from the weekend! He got to experience firsthand the marathon workload his brother and I did the last time the truck was in my garage...despite having “only” three things to do this time around (shocks, springs, compressor), it was far from being simple installs. We put in some really long hours, I felt pretty bad with how long all the mods took, but the end result seems worth it and I think the community will be pleased by the work. I got some pics, but I’ll wait for him to show-and-tell!

 15. Back to Cali we go, cheers to hawairish on many more meets and trips to come! Learned a new lesson called F*%# Pneumatics in a quick 4 day 50+ hour class. Final result was really really good, artful in a sense. Updates to come. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
